Erdem is one of a host of British designers exhibiting one of his gowns
at the Victoria and Albert Museum this month.
This gorgeously ethereal and feminine illustration is such a beautiful thing,
it is just so amazing that these beautiful brushstrokes can be realised, so precisely and perfectly in hand-printed silk.
The autumnal leaves rushing out of the open book are both stunning and atmospheric, mirroring the natural and dramatic feel of the illustration itself.
The exhibition, 'Ballgowns-British Glamour Since 1950,' will be open this Saturday 19th May, until 6th January, 2013.
We cannot wait to go and see it for ourselves!
